After nearly 22 hours of suspension, ferry services on Shimulia-Kathalbari route in Munshiganj, have resumed.

Inclement weather is increasing the suffering of homebound people taking the water route during Eid holidays.
"The long queue of vehicles will not reduce until ferry services are fully operational again,"Mawa traffic police In-Charge (TI) Helal Uddin said.
Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest religious festival of Muslims, will be celebrated across Bangladesh on August 12. Public holiday will be observed from August 11 to 13 for Eid.
