BAJUS President Sayem Sobhan stresses unity for resolving problems of jewellery sector

Newly-elected President of Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) Sayem Sobhan Anvir has stressed unity of related businessmen and owners across the country to resolve problems of the jewellery sector.

He was addressing the second meeting of the newly formed executive committee of the BAJUS in the capital Monday night.

Earlier, MA Hannan Azad, President of Bashundhara City Shopping Mall Shop Owners Association and Vice-President of BAJUS, accorded a floral reception to Sayem Sobhan Anvir, also Managing Director of the Bashundhara Group.
Sayem Sobhan Anvir also underscored need for membership of all jewellery owners in the BAJUS for ensuring discipline in the sector.

He asked the BAJUS officials concerned to make an informative and statics-based database of the sector.

BAJUS executive committee members and former presidents of the organisation Dr Dilip Kumar Roy and Enamul Haque Khan, vice-presidents Gulzar Ahmed, Anwar Hossain, MA Hannan Azad, Badal Chandra Roy and Dr Dewan Aminul Islam Shahin, general secretary Dilip Kumar Agarwala, assistant secretary Masudur Rahman and treasurer Uttam Banik, among others, spoke in the meeting.

BAJUS assistant secretaries Masudur Rahman, Samit Ghosh Apu, Bidhan Malakar, Md Joynal Abedin Khokon, Md Liton Hawlader, Narayan Chandra Dey, Md Tajul Islam Lavlu and Enamul Haque Bhuiyan Liton were also present.
