Habib Ullah Dawn elected as Vice President of FBCCI

Habib Ullah Dawn has been elected as the Vice President of FBCCI, the Top organization of businessmen, for the period 2021-2023. 

After being elected, Mr. Dawn said that the FBCCI will continue plan for the future to achieve Prime Minister's Vision 2041. At present, per capita income in Bangladesh has increased to Dollar 2,227 per annum. In the last two years, when the global economy has been going through a recession, our per capita income has grown by 16.66%. Our GDP has now surpassed 350 billion Dollars, a growth of about 245% in the last 12 years. About 78% of our exports are to Europe and North America. In order to increase our exports in the future, we have to create new markets, for which FBCCI will continue to work.  

Mr. Dawn is also the President of the CIS-BCCI Joint Chamber and has previously served as President of the BARVIDA for the three terms successfully. He is a successful businessman and chairman of AM Group. AM Group has already achieved considerable success, with the group's business scope and investments spanning the automobile, aviation, human resource, ICT, construction, retail food, agro and leather sectors. 

Mr. Dawn is the Founding Director of Exim Bank, a third generation bank in Bangladesh. His leadership is also active in the country's sports arena. He is currently an advisor to the cricket committee of the long-established Mohammedan Club Limited.
