Ramendu, Ferdousi Majumdar catch Covid-19

Eminent actor Ramendu Majumder and his wife actress Ferdousi Majumder have tested for COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

Ramendu Mazumder himself confirmed the matter to media.

He said Ferdousi Mazumder tested positive on July 18 while his test result came out positive on July 28.

Now they both are in home isolation and doing better, said Ramendu, adding that they were late to disclose this because it would make all tensed.

Ramendu Mazumder, also stage director and theater producer, was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2009 while Ferdousi Mazumder received so in 1998. The later was also honoured with Independence Day Award.
