Real Madrid will offer Ramos one more year
|
From next month, Spanish Football Star Sergio Ramos will be entering the final year of his contract at Real Madrid. However, according to Spanish media AS sports, Real Madrid wishes to extend his stay by a further 12 months until 2022. The 34-year-old remains an automatic starter in Zinedine Zidane's side and the proposal of an extension until 2022 will take him beyond his 36th birthday. AS report that it is unclear whether or not Ramos will accept the one-year extension, but they add that he has designs on playing in America's MLS before he retires. He then has ambitions to go into coaching. In his 15-year career with Real Madrid, Ramos has played 34 times for Real in all competitions so far this season, scoring seven goals. During a trophy-laden spell at the Santiago Bernabeu, his honours include four Champions Leagues and LaLiga titles apiece.
