Bashundhara Khata launches Braille Book donation programme

Bashundhara Khata (writing book) will distribute braille book for visually impaired students across the country.

Under the special initiative of Bashundhara Group vice chairman Safwan Sobhan, the higher secondary level students will get the books.

Regarding the noble initiative, Bashundhara Khata and Visually Impaired Education and Welfare(VIEW) Foundation signed up an agreement on Wednesday.

Bashundhara Group Deputy Managing Director Mustafizur Rahman and VIEW Foundation Chairman Prof Yusuf Ali Chowdhury signed the agreement at a function at The Food Hall restaurant in the capital.

Bashundhara Khata has been contributing in the education sector in the country for last 10 years. All Educational items from the company maintains actual numbers of leafs.

VIEW Foundation has been working for development of differently abled persons. VIEW Foundation will publish the braille book at thier own press.

Bashundhara Khata, in association with the VIEW Foundation, will develop braille book for the visually impaired students.

The braille books follows the curriculum of National Curriculum and Textbook Board(NCTB) for publishing Bangla rapid reader, literature and English.
