FBCCI President Gave Remarks at 10th D-8 Summit as Newly Elected Chair of D-8 CCI

Bangladesh has hosted the 10th D-8 Summit virtually today on April 8, 2021. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has lead Bangladesh delegation at this summit participated by other D-8 member countries- Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, Iran, Nigeria and Pakistan.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an has handed over the Chairmanship of D-8 to President Sheikh Hasina.

Heads of States/Governments/Delegation of 8 Member States gave their remarks on boosting trade, investment, ICT and addressed other economic and social issues at the summit.

President of FBCCI also gave his remarks as the newly elected Chair of D-8 Chambers of Commerce and Industry (D-8 CCI). He congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on her new responsibility as the Chair of D-8 on behalf of the private sector of D-8 CCI. He also assured to build on heritage and focus on targeted measurable approaches aligned with D8 agendas and joint declaration of D8 CCI.
