2 musicians killed in Chattogram road accident

Two musicians were killed and five others injured in a road accident in Mirsarai upazila of Chattogram early Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Partha Guha and Hanif.

The injured are Beauty Khan, Nandan, Rahat, Pappu and Tawhid. Of them, Beauty is in a critical condition.

In this connection, Mohammad Feroj Hossen, In-charge of Jorarganj Highway Police Outpost, said a microbus carrying some musicians was going to Cox’s Bazar from Dhaka. When the microbus reached Mirsarai area, a lorry coming from opposition hit the microbus around 5am.

“Partha died on the spot and Hanif was declared dead at Chattogram Medical College Hospital. Apart from, five injured others were admitted admitted to the same hospital,” the OC added.
