Kazi Moniruzzaman appoints as Satkhira’s new SP

Kazi Moniruzzaman (PPM bar) appointed as Satkhira's new Superintendent of Police. Bangladesh Police on Wednesday (August 3), has appointed new Superintendent of Police (SP) in 40 districts of the country including Satkhira. They were given this responsibility in a notification of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Previous SPs of these districts have been sent to new workplaces.

New Police Superintendent Kazi Moniruzzaman said that he will work relentlessly to make Satkhira free from drugs, eveteasing, women abuse and militancy. Besides, he wants to work diligently to maintain overall law and order. He said, my best wishes to the people of Satkhira in advance. My father is sick now, if he recovers I will join Satkhira in next three-four days.

Before that he was Superintendent of Feni Police. Currently working as Superintendent of Police, Special Branch (SB) of Bangladesh Police, Dhaka has been posted in Satkhira.

Kazi Maniruzzaman was born on 30 June 1976 in Gobinathpur, Jhenaida. He was received SSC from Harinakundu PN High School in 1992 and MSS in International Relations from Dhaka University in 1999.
