Snigdha the first woman as barrister in Pirojpur district

Sadia Karim Snigdha has passed barristership from the Honorable Society of Lincoln's Inn, London. She is the first female barrister of Pirojpur district.
Sadia's home is in Tarabunia village of Matibhanga union of Nazirpur upazila. She is the only daughter of Fisheries and Livestock Minister S M Rezaul Karim and poet Parveen Reza. Earlier, their son Sheikh Tanveer Karim Russell also passed the barristership from the same institute. He is now practicing law.
Rezaul Karim posted on his Facebook account on Friday (July 29) expressing his happiness at the news of his daughter's successs. In it he wrote, 'Alhamdulillah. Our son Sheikh Tanveer Karim Russell and daughter Sheikh Sadia Karim Snigdha are both become barristers now. Member of the Honorable Society of Lincoln's Inn. I want everyone to pray for them, so that, they could become ideal people. Accepting the profession of law with sanctity to establish justice so that they can fulfill their professional responsibilities with utmost sincerity.
Poet Parveen Reza said, 'I wish my children to be engaged in the legal profession and serve the common people. We want them not to be involved in any wrongdoing.
Sadia Karim Snigdha said, "I will return to the country and engage in the legal profession. I will serve free legal assistance to the common people of the country. "
Union Parishad Chairman of Khalid Hossain Sajal said, 'We are happy and proud of Sadia's success. I saw Sadia and her brother Sheikh Tanveer Karim Russell closely. They are both very good persons.
Kazi Ruhia Begum Hussey, chairman of the Pirojpur district National Women's Association, said, "I am happy with the news that Sadia Karim Snigdha has become a barrister, we are proud of the women's society. Sadia introduced Pirojpur in the the world as a woman barrister. She will be followed by female students of Pirojpur.
Former President of District Lawyers Association and General Secretary of District Awami League MA Hakim Howladar said, "Sadia Karim is the first female barrister of the district. Before her, no woman in this district has passed the barrister.
According to family, Sadia was born in 1996. She passed SSC from Motijheel Ideal School in 2012 and HSC from Holy Cross School & College in 2014. She obtained a Diploma in Law from the University of London in 2016 and Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Law from Pearson College, London in 2017.After that LLB (Hons) from University of South Wales, London in 2019 and LLM from BPP University in 2021 and then Barrister at Law from Honorable Society of Lincoln's Inn, London this year. Sadia is the younger of the two brothers and sisters.
