No barrier to take ATM abroad for treatment

Doctors consented to the idea of treatment abroad for Veteran actor ATM Shamsuzzaman, though no final decision has been taken yet. ATM Shamsuzzaman has been kept on life support for 14 days at Asgar Ali Hospital in Gendaria of the capital.

Dr Samanta Lal Sen, national coordinator at National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery of DMCH, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s special assistant  Biplob Barua and singer Rafiqul Alam  had a meeting with actor’s family members and hospital’s Dr. Matiul Islam around 12 pm on Friday (May 10).

Dr Samanta Lal Sen said no decision has been taken to send him abroad for treatment.

His condition further deteriorated, because he can’t take any more food now. For being in such a state, there is no barrier to take him abroad for treatment, Saleh Zaman selim, younger brother of the actor told Banglanews on Friday noon quoting the doctors.

ATM Shamsuzzaman was admitted to the hospital in Gendaria after he had fallen sick Friday (April 26) night
