![]() Jamal Bhuiyan tested positive for coronavirus The 30-year old midfielder showed a little feverish and stayed back in Doha when Bangladesh team left for Dhaka on December 5 a day after Bangladesh was beaten 0-5 by hosts Qatar in their second-leg match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers. "Jamal had a slight temperature when the team left for Dhaka from Doha. He stayed back and subsequently tested positive for coronavirus. He is now under observation of Qatar FA and is in isolation at a hotel," informed Abu Nayeem Shohag, the general secretary of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
