Sabrina gets two more days’ remand

JKG Health Care Chairman Dr. arrested on charges of forgery of the coronavirus test report. The court remanded Sabrina Arif Chowdhury for two days. Earlier, DB police appeared in court on Friday afternoon and applied for a five-day remand. Following the hearing, the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Masudur Rahman granted her a two-day remand. Dr. Sabrina was produced before the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate's Court at 12:25 pm and kept in the court's custody. The police produced the doctor in court on July 13 and remanded her for four days. Following the hearing, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shahinur Rahman granted her a three-day remand. Incidentally, on July 12, Sabrina was brought to the Tejgaon Divisional Sub-Police (DC) office for questioning. After interrogation, the police arrested her in a case filed by Tejgaon police station for delivering fake reports without testing samples of coronavirus. On the same day, Sabrina Chowdhury, a doctor at the Cardiac Surgery Department of the National Heart Institute, was suspended for breach of discipline.
