Shahed taken to DB office

Regent Hospital Chairman Mohammad Shahed has been taken to DB office after health checkups at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday afternoon, told Lieutenant Colonel Ashiq Billah, director of legal and media wing of RAB Headquarters, the media.

“Since the morning, we got some shocking information about his misdeeds, however, it is not possible to tell the media right now in the interest of the investigation,” he said.

Earlier, he was arrested at around 5:00 am while fleeing in a boat from the Lobangapati area near Sakar Bazar of Debhata police station on the Satkhira border. After the arrest, Shahed was taken to Satkhira District Stadium. Later at 8:00 am he was brought to Dhaka by helicopter.
