Queen refrains from her birthday celebration

Queen Elizabeth II of Britain will not celebrate her birthday this year due to the crisis and instability caused by the global pandemic coronavirus. Although the 94th Birthday was supposed to be celebrated on Tuesday, all the arrangements have been canceled due to unfavorable circumstances. As a result, this time British queen Elizabeth’s birthday will not be observed. According to a British royal family source, CNN confirmed the news. In a report, they said that Queen asked to avoid traditional ‘Gun Salute’, in addition to postponing the birthday celebrations. The official birthday parade which was supposed to be observed in June next is also canceled. She will spend the day in lockdown at Windsor Castle. This is the second time that the Queen is going to pass another birthday out of formal celebration. Earlier in her youth, she refrained from celebrating her birthday once. So far in Britain, more than 15000 people have died of coronavirus infection. And more than 115,000 have been infected.
