More COVID-19 vaccines will reach in time: Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today said about 45 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccines have arrived afresh in the country and more vaccines will reach in time, reports BSS.

"The BNP's ill-politics over coronavirus vaccines has failed. About 45 lakh doses of vaccine have already arrived in the country and more vaccines will come in time," he said while speaking at a press briefing on contemporary issues at his official residence here.

Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said Bangladesh will able to procure the required vaccine shots under the diplomatic and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

He said the government has given top priority to the collection of vaccines for protecting the lives of the country's people, which is a clear reflection of its long-term commitment to them.
