Fifty years of Bangladesh's independence were celebrated in the New South Wales Parliament on March 25.
Former Chief Minister of New South Wales and former Foreign Minister of Australia Bob Carr was present as the chief guest.
Ustad Sirajus Salekin, columnist Ajay Dasgupta, organizer Nehal Neyamul Bari, organizers of Sydney's Baishakhi Mela Sheikh Shamimul Haque, Haris Velji, Sophie Kotsis MP, Jodi McKee MP, Anullok MP, Anulok MP, Matt Miol MP Consul General of Sydney Khandaker Masudul Alam, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Australia Sufiur Rahman was present at the occasion which conducted by Abul Hasnat Milton.
